NOT Uncovering
I am sorry but we have had to change our plans again. Due to the 10 day forecast we have decided to leave the covers down rather than risk precipitation preventing us fromrecovering Wednesday. Plans and forecasts can and probably will change. We will update everyone accordingly. Thank you.

Greens Uncovering?
As of now Saturday looks to be our first possible chance to remove the greens covers.
With the current forecast we will have to wait until at least mid day before we will be able to begin.
This means there may only be a small window of afternoon tee times.

BLOG IS BACK!
Once again I will try to rekindle this Site. When I am active this site is a great communication tool, when I drop the ball or completly abandon it, the Site becomes a waste of effort for those following. I apologize too everyone, especially those people who have continued to check the site of the last half year or so. (over one hundred views last month!!)
So, I will Try very hard to post something of substance at least once a week from here on. I will also try to begin using this as a primary information site regarding covering and uncovering green.
Once again I apologize for my lack posts.

Greens Covering Policy
Greens Covering Policy
A reminder of our greens covering policy:
We will cover when the
forecast is for the air temperature to dip below 25 degrees for an
extended period of time. We will uncover when the forecast is to be
above freezing for a full day and not forecasted to dip into the mid twenties at night.. Many other factors are to be considered
when deciding to or not to cover the greens. Some of these are wind,
moisture and time of season. Also, we will attempt to cover the greens
before the weather moves into the area. It is very difficult to handle
the covers when the wind is blowing at 15-20 mph, or when it is raining.
Please understand that the few days each winter that the course is
closed it is for the future health of our greens.
Frost delays will be handled the same way as past years. We will open
the course just as soon as the frost has burned off of the greens. Even
though we have dormant Bermuda grass greens foot traffic can still
damage the plant when covered in frost.
