Making more progress

Although we had some hard rain again last night we are making good progress today on the drainage on #10. I will try and post some pictures this afternoon.

Stalled

Last night's storms really did a number on our bunkers. My crew has spent the day cleaning and raking the bunkers in hope of having them playable this weekend. Because of this little work was done on number ten. We will continue on Monday.
This weekend the area will be roped off to keep carts from driving over the trenches and cut sod. The trenches are marked as ground under repair so please feel free to play inside the roped area just do not take your cart inside. Thanks

Progress!

After a day+ of minor problems, (cutting through unexpected irrigation power wires and mechanical problems with our trencher) we have begun to make progress on #10. We will continue to move forward as quickly as possible. Here are some pictures of the work.

Thanks again to Metro Appliances and More

Minor Frost Delay this morning

We have had a very light frost form on the greens this morning, I do not anticipate having a long delay but we have to be extra careful now that the turf is greening up and coming out of dormancy.

Also, we are beginning work on the drainage project on #10 today. While we are working the tees will be placed down in the lower fairway and will be played as a par three. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Projects!

As I am writing this two projects are under way. First is the cart path behind # 7 Green. Thanks to Todd Krauser, Dennis Boroto, James Kita and Metro Appliances and More we are having the path graded and paved. This will not only benefit the membership by protecting your carts and giving you a smoother ride around 7, it will help my equipment too! This is a project that has been needed for some time, Thanks Guys.
Here are few Pictures:

The other project is drainage on the lower part of #10 fairway. This project is sponsored by the MGA and will eliminate standing water from the area and allow the fairway to dry much quicker after rains. Thank you MGA!
I will add pictures of this project tomorrow!
